Our memory care program was designed by nationally recognized consultants specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illnesses. This team of professionals also provides in-depth Alzheimer’s training to our staff on a continual basis.

Residents of the Memory Care Unit enjoy a safe, comfortable and secure environment and are cared for 24 hours a day by trained staff. The unit incorporates the latest research and techniques in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. From the secure entry door and outdoor patio/garden area to the soothing colors and specially-designed features, the residents’ safety, physical and psychological needs are the primary concern of Maison du Monde.
 
A range of activities are scheduled throughout the day. Our activity program is designed to maximize and maintain the physical and mental well-being of each resident. The activities are tailored to the resident’s past history and lifestyle and emphasize normal life events in order for the resident to have a successful and positive experience.

 

In addition, the Memory Care Unit offers a number of special features including:

 • Rooms specially designed for orientation purposes
 • A secured walking path
 • A therapeutic kitchen
 • No overhead paging
