Our rehabilitation services are contracted through Premier Rehab Therapy. Premier works as a team with the Maison du Monde staff and administration to achieve common goals and uphold the values of the home.

Premier Rehab has successfully combined the outstanding qualifications of Physical and Occupational Therapists as well as Speech-Language Pathologists to form a specialized and elite team of professionals. Together, this group is able to provide optimal resident care through comprehensive, thorough treatment. In addition, the same team of therapists is present in the facility and works with residents on a daily basis. This allows them to become more familiar with each resident’s specific needs and progress.

Trained in providing the most comprehensive treatment for improved balance, gait, transfers, lower extremity strength and endurance, which increases the resident’s mobility while decreasing risk for falls.

Trained in providing the most comprehensive treatment for activities of daily living, positioning, contracture management, wheelchair mobility, upper extremity strength and endurance, which increases the resident’s ability to function more independently in the environment.

Trained in providing the most comprehensive treatment of dysphagia, which leads to the assignment of the most appropriate diet consistency for each resident, as well as dysarthria, aphasia, apraxia and dysphasia, which facilitate better communication and safety awareness in the environment.
